Japanese brand GOODSMILE COMPANY's "Nendoroid" series, which features over a thousand characters, has unveiled a new product based on the popular anime "Bocchi the Rock!" — the "Hitori Gotoh Jersey Ver." The suggested retail price is 6,200 JPY, with an estimated release in January 2026!
"Bocchi the Rock!" tells the story of protagonist Hitori Gotoh, also known as "Bocchi," who constantly practices guitar with the dream of forming a band, but her social anxiety prevents her from achieving it. One day after school, she coincidentally meets Nijika Ijichi, who is struggling to find a guitarist for her band, and thus joins "Kessoku Band." Together with bassist Ryo Yamada and Ikuyo Kita, they begin their musical activities, and Bocchi gradually confronts her social anxiety.
This Hitori Gotoh Jersey Ver. stands approximately 10 cm tall and features Bocchi's casual outfit from episode 9 of the anime, when she and the band members visited Enoshima before the end of summer vacation. The hairstyle reuses the previous version, and the figure faithfully recreates Bocchi's iconic jersey look in Nendoroid's chibi proportions! Accessories include the heart-shaped sunglasses she wears when thinking of lyrics, cat ear parts, and the flat octopus Bocchi from episode 11 of the anime. The most exciting aspect this time is definitely the facial expressions, which include a shy face, a shocked face, and a worn-out face, allowing you to fully display Bocchi's rich range of expressions!
Furthermore, pre-ordering on the GOODSMILE COMPANY official website will include a takoyaki senbei (octopus cracker) that the group shared and an interchangeable hand for holding the senbei. This can be displayed with the previously released Nijika Ijichi Casual Wear Ver., Ikuyo Kita Casual Wear Ver., and Ryo Yamada Casual Wear Ver. to recreate the Enoshima outing scene!
