The highly popular "Awaiting" (tentative translation, まちぼうけ) toy series, released by GASHAPON, the capsule toy division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has announced the GASHAPON ONLINE exclusive "Mobile Suit Gundam Real Type Color Version Awaiting" (まちぼうけ ガンダムリアルタイプカラーの場合)! Shipping is scheduled to begin in late December 2025, with a suggested retail price of 500 JPY per capsule.
The "Gundam Awaiting" series, which reinterprets mobile suits with a cute two-head-tall proportion and depicts them in a waiting-for-sortie pose with hands clasped around their knees, is now launching a Real Type Color version! This new release features a dark color palette, emphasizing a realistic military style. The included mobile suits are "RX-78-2 Gundam," "GM," and "Mass Production Zaku" from the original first wave, along with "Dom" from the original second wave. Each model showcases an interesting visual effect different from its original appearance. Display them alongside previous releases to fully showcase the charm of the Gundam world!
