Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya announced the latest plastic model kit product from the mobile game "Phantasy Star Online 2es", "GRAND SCALE Gene (STELLA INNOCENT Ver.)", scheduled for release in December 2025.
Gene is a junior ARKS in "Phantasy Star Online 2es" who teams up with the protagonist (player) on adventures. She possesses a sweet and cute appearance, a shapely figure, a naive and innocent personality, and a wide range of expressions. Her body contains an astonishing amount of photon energy, but her body struggles to bear the load, leading to easy fatigue during combat, which often prompts Anette to tease her about her "terrible control." However, this physique is not without its advantages; Gene also possesses excellent recovery capabilities, able to fully recuperate with just one night's rest.
"GRAND SCALE Gene (STELLA INNOCENT Ver.)" is a modification based on the regular version released in 2019. The 3DCAD files used for the original product have been redesigned, not only enlarging the overall size to a total height of 25 cm but also increasing the number of part divisions and color separation areas, resulting in higher quality and completeness.
The overall sculpt faithfully reproduces the image designed by illustrator Nidy-2D-. Precise parts depict Gene's voluptuous figure and cute one-piece mini-skirt outfit. Additionally, all joints throughout the body feature flexible articulation, allowing for various cute, cool everyday scenes and combat poses. Accessories include three pre-painted face parts for replacement: a standard front-facing expression, a smiling face looking to the right, and a winking face. Also included are five PVC hand parts with ball joints at the wrists. The twin-bladed weapon can reproduce its sheathed and deployed states through the articulation of its wings, and transparent blade effects can be attached.
