Following the release of "Lucy" from "Cyberpunk: Edgerunners," Hong Kong toy manufacturer threezero's 1/6 scale articulated figure series "FigZero" today (21st) announced the next installment: "David Martinez"! Both a Standard Edition and a Deluxe Edition will be released simultaneously, with an estimated shipping date in Q4 2025, and suggested retail prices of HKD 1,250 and HKD 1,330 respectively.
In "Cyberpunk: Edgerunners," the protagonist, young David, experienced the accidental death of his mother. Coupled with constant bullying at school and a strong sense of deprivation due to his impoverished status, he implanted his mother's relic, the military-grade cyberware "Sandevistan," into himself. He then returned to school to "repay" his tormentors with his newfound power. He was later approached by Maine, who originally intended to purchase the Sandevistan, and subsequently joined Maine's crew.
"FigZero David Martinez" stands approximately 28 cm tall, with 32 points of articulation throughout the body. It faithfully reproduces his head sculpt and body details after implanting the Sandevistan, as per the anime's design. His outfit is crafted from fabric and various composite materials, and bendable wires are incorporated into David's yellow jacket to enhance posing dynamism. Accessories include a gritting teeth interchangeable face, multiple interchangeable hands, a pistol, an injection syringe, and his mother "Gloria Martinez's" urn.
▼ The simultaneously released Deluxe Edition not only features special designs on the jacket and shoes, which exhibit a highly futuristic fluorescent effect under UV light, but also includes an additional Moon Dance backdrop, which can be combined with Lucy's backdrop!
