Wilder Toys, a Canadian toy company, recently unveiled several interesting game cartridge playsets under its retro video game-themed toy brand, Console Heroes. This article will bring you news of a new product based on the classic fighting video game "Street Fighter II"!
Console Heroes is a series of pocket toy playsets infused with a retro soul, offering both display value and playability. Simply open the game cartridge-shaped shell, arrange the accessories and figures, and you can recreate classic video game scenes! In addition to cartridges for the SEGA home console Mega Drive (US name: Sega Genesis), there are even shells designed like the Mega Drive console itself. Currently, toys based on "Street Fighter II," "Sonic the Hedgehog," "Altered Beast," and other titles have been produced.
The "Sega Genesis Street Fighter II Game Cartridge Playset" is approximately 10.7 cm long, and when unfolded, its height is about 8 cm. Inside, it displays the dock battle stage scene, complete with essential health bars and a countdown timer. Large barrels and pillars set in the four corners of the duel scene are separate parts. The mini figures of "Ryu" and "Ken" are approximately 3.8 cm tall, and with the Hadoken effect, they look incredibly cute when posed! It makes me want to relive the game again!
