Danish toy company LEGO yesterday (21st) officially unveiled the new product, set number 21360, in its "LEGO Ideas" series: "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory"! It is scheduled for release on September 18, 2025, with a suggested retail price of US$219.99.

This set comprises 2025 pieces, and once assembled, the scene measures approximately 52 cm in length. The entire model is designed based on the 1971 film "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory". This vibrant and colorful model faithfully recreates the fantastical scenes from the movie. Not only can you turn a knob to make the chocolate waterfall move, but you can also recreate the iconic moment of the blue and white boat, Wonkatania, passing under the arch bridge. The various mysterious plants in the scene are also captivating, especially the candies made from translucent parts, which are absolutely stunning! Turning the model to the back reveals Willy Wonka's office.

There are a total of nine minifigures, including Willy Wonka, Grandpa Joe, the five Golden Ticket winners: Charlie Bucket, Augustus Gloop, Mike Teavee, Veruca Salt, Violet Beauregarde, and two Oompa Loompas, the chocolate factory employees.

As this is a LEGO Ideas series set, we must mention the authors of the original design! The original concept for this set came from Italian LEGO fan duo Roberto Ceruti and Jody Padulano. They spent approximately 4–5 months completing this model and its subsequent modifications, painstakingly working to fully recreate the bridge and candy plants within the model. However, the commercialized version has indeed changed quite a bit; this editor personally feels that the original version of the bridge and plants appeared more vibrant and interesting.
