BANDAI SPIRITS' Collectors Division, TAMASHII NATIONS, has officially unveiled a new product under its S.H.Figuarts action figure brand, based on the popular anime "One Piece"—the "Monkey D. Luffy -Marineford Summit War-" action figure. It has a suggested retail price of 4,400 JPY and is scheduled for release in April 2026!
The Marineford Summit War was a conflict that erupted between the Whitebeard Pirates and their vast allied pirate crews, who sought to rescue their Second Division Commander Ace from execution, and the Marine Headquarters along with the Seven Warlords of the Sea. It is regarded as the greatest battle since the Great Pirate Era began. Although Whitebeard's dying words solidified pirates' faith in ONE PIECE after the war, the power reshuffle following the fall of one of the Four Emperors significantly impacted the global situation.
This "Monkey D. Luffy -Marineford Summit War-" action figure adopts Luffy's appearance during his participation in the Summit War in the anime. The figure stands approximately 14.5 cm tall and appears to reuse the previously released "Monkey D. Luffy -Dawn of Adventure-" with changes to its colors and accessories. It faithfully recreates his iconic yellow vest and red denim shorts, and the various scars accumulated on his body from his journey through Impel Down are also reproduced with paintwork!
For accessories, this release directly includes the straw hat accessory tied around his neck, which was previously bundled with the "Elastic Accessory Pack." It also comes with three interchangeable face parts, including an expression of him crying with his head tilted back after Ace's demise, and multiple sets of interchangeable hands. These can be displayed together with the previously released "Portgas D. Ace -Fire Fist-" to recreate classic scenes from the Summit War!
