American toy giant Sideshow Collectibles' "Premium Format Figure" product line recently unveiled its latest DC-themed creation: the Man-Bat full body statue! It is expected to ship from January to April 2026, with a suggested retail price of 860 USD.
Man-Bat is one of Batman's classic villains. His terrifying, giant-bat-like silhouette often leads Gotham citizens to mistake him for Batman. Whenever Man-Bat commits a crime, the rumors of "Batman is indeed an abnormal monster" resurface with a clamor. In the lore, Man-Bat's true identity is actually Dr. Kirk Langstrom, a zoologist dedicated to studying bats. The mutagen that transforms Dr. Langstrom from human form into a bat monster is a serum he developed himself.
This Man-Bat statue, sculpted to a height of 63 cm, fully showcases his monstrous and terrifying physique. The exquisite sculpting realistically depicts his muscle lines, dense fur covering his body, massive pointed ears, and glowing red eyes. The highly imposing bat wings feature translucent material for the wing membranes. His tattered pants allude to the fact that this monster before us was once human. The design of him perched atop the Bat-Signal also conveys an interesting visual connection between him and Batman. The signal light even features two modes, white and red light – absolutely fantastic!
