The HOBBY Division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company has announced the release of the "HG 1/144 GQuuuuuuX (Endymion Unit Awakened)" from the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX, joining the highly diverse 1/144 scale Gunpla 'HG (High Grade)' series, scheduled for January 2026.
In a timeline where the Principality of Zeon won the One Year War, the gMS-Ω GQuuuuuuX was the first Gundam manufactured by the Principality of Zeon military in Universal Century 0085, also known as 'Gundam QuuuuuuX'. This mobile suit boasts exceptionally superior mobility, capable of agile movements in space. Its most significant feature is the newly developed 'Omega Brainwave Transmission System'. When activated, it switches from analog controls to brainwave control, allowing the mobile suit to instantly adopt offensive and defensive postures based on the pilot's direct thoughts and reactions. However, this system demands extremely high qualifications and abilities from the pilot, and prolonged use can even place a considerable burden on them.
This product is a modification of the previously released standard version, featuring new head parts with an articulated jaw mechanism, and new clear parts and PET sheet effects added to the limbs to recreate the awakened form of the 'Endymion Unit', the true manifestation of the 'Omega Brainwave Transmission System'. Accessories also include a beam rifle, beam saber, heat hawk, shield, the Omega Brainwave Transmission System (unactivated) head, and core
