The official Neon Genesis Evangelion store, EVANGELION STORE, has partnered with Japan's Okamoto Co., Ltd. (オカモト) to launch their latest product: the "A.T. Field Umbrella"! The suggested retail price is 3,980 JPY, and it is currently available at EVA STORE.
A.T. Field (Absolute Terror Field) is a type of energy established in the Neon Genesis Evangelion series, also known as the Absolute Terror Field. It is usually an invisible barrier used to protect the soul and spirit of living beings, with varying strengths for each individual. If an A.T. Field is lost, the entity will collapse into pure LCL fluid. The A.T. Fields of Angels and EVAs are extremely powerful, even appearing as visible octagonal energy waves, capable of blocking physical attacks and forming an almost impenetrable shield that requires special weapons to breach.
The "A.T. Field 60cm Umbrella" transforms the iconic A.T. Field from the series into an umbrella. Manufactured by Okamoto, the transparent canopy is printed with vibrant orange gradient octagons, beautifully capturing the full power of the A.T. Field as seen in the show! The umbrella ribs are 60 cm long and made of transparent material, while the orange transparent design of the handle further enhances the overall quality. The umbrella's stretchers are made of flexible and lightweight fiberglass, supporting a 102 cm canopy. Weighing only 355g, it maintains excellent wind resistance and durability. With this umbrella, you might just look forward to rainy days to show off your A.T. Field! It not only blocks raindrops but also wards off bad moods caused by the rain~
