Bandai's GASHAPON division in Japan will release a new themed product featuring the super popular Sanrio stars—the "HAPIDANBUI ~Transforming Oyster~ Marker Charms" Gashapon. The suggested retail price is 300 JPY per capsule, and it is scheduled to launch in the fourth week of October 2025!
"HAPIDANBUI" is Sanrio's first male character group, launched in 2020. It combines six male characters: Pochacco, Pekkle, Badtz-Maru, Keroppi, Hangyodon, and Samur. The group's name means "boys who want to become happy, striving for a V-shaped rebound," conveying the idea of "No problem! You are yourself, and everything will be alright," and bringing a little happiness to everyone through various challenges!
The marker charm series features a rubber ring attached to the charm, which can be placed on items like umbrellas or water bottles for identification, preventing mix-ups! Following the highly popular, albeit quite bewildering, "Sanrio Stars ~Transforming Oyster~ Marker Charms" released last November, this new "HAPIDANBUI ~Transforming Oyster~ Marker Charms" transforms the popular Sanrio boy band members into oyster forms. It includes six types: Pochacco, Samur, Keroppi, Badtz-Maru, Hangyodon, and Pekkle. Pochacco, who appeared in the first wave, now has a winking expression. The use of transparent PVC material makes the oysters appear crystal clear, and the bewildering combination with the Sanrio stars is unexpectedly very cute. Whether used as a marker on an umbrella or as a charm on a bag, they are sure to be a conversation starter!
