"SHIBUYA SCRAMBLE FIGURE," the high-quality figure brand under eStream, a subsidiary of Japan's CyberZ, has announced its latest product from the "Cantabile" non-scale figure series: the "Alisa Mikhailovna Kujou" pre-painted complete figure, based on "The Neighboring Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian"! It is scheduled for release in March 2026, with a suggested retail price of 6,600 JPY (tax included).
The manga "The Neighboring Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian," adapted from the light novel with original work by SansanSun, character designs by Momoco, and art by Saho Tenamachi, revolves around the daily school life of protagonist "Masachika Kuse" and the half-Japanese, half-Russian heroine "Alisa Kujou." Besides their interesting "more than friends, less than lovers" interactions, a major highlight of this work is Alya's habit of hiding her embarrassment in Russian, sometimes even to the extent of playfully teasing Masachika. However, unbeknownst to Alya, Masachika learned Russian in his childhood for his playmates and is now almost fluent, so he completely understands all of Alya's embarrassing remarks! Ah~~ just get together already!
"cantabile" can be seen as SHIBUYA SCRAMBLE FIGURE's product line focused on accessible pricing. Inheriting high-quality scale figure production techniques, it strives to express rich character emotions within a 20-22 cm size. This figure, standing approximately 21 cm tall, vividly recreates Alya-chan in her Seirei Academy private school uniform. The expression as she speaks, her flowing long hair, and the wrinkles in her skirt are all meticulously sculpted! Her sparkling eyes are also excellently rendered, and upon closer inspection, one can even feel the subtle "skin bite" of her thighs above her long socks, truly capturing the atmosphere of a frozen everyday moment.
