Figure-rise Standard "Kamen Rider New 1" Model Kit: Multiple Molded Color Parts and Special Surface Processing Recreate the Texture of Each Section!

The highly popular character model kit series "Figure-rise Standard", released by the HOBBY Division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, has announced its latest product from "Kamen Rider", "Kamen Rider New 1", slated for release in March 2026.

Kamen Rider New 1 first appeared in Episode 53 of the original "Kamen Rider" series. It is the enhanced form obtained by Takeshi Hongo (Hiroshi Fujioka, who returned after recovering from injuries sustained in a filming accident), the transformed identity of Kamen Rider 1, upon his return from Europe. Compared to Old 1, not only are there significant differences in appearance, but his physical abilities are also greatly enhanced. During transformation, he no longer needs to ride a motorcycle at high speed to allow his belt to withstand wind pressure; instead, he transforms directly using the wind energy accumulated within his body. He can also perform spectacular combat techniques akin to wrestling moves, earning him the moniker "Technique No. 1".

The "Figure-rise Standard Kamen Rider New 1" kit utilizes multiple molded color parts and special surface processing to express the differences in color, luster, and texture of various parts of the Rider's suit, achieving a metallic sheen on areas such as the helmet, belt, and boots. Once completed, the kit boasts excellent body proportions and articulation, allowing for classic transformation poses and battle scenes to be recreated with two different styles of red scarves and multiple interchangeable hand parts.
