Japan's Bandai Spirits, under its "Grand Ship Collection" series, which transforms various vehicles from the popular anime and manga "One Piece" into model kits, has unveiled a new product after four years – the "Going Merry -A Netflix Series: ONE PIECE-" from the live-action Netflix series "One Piece". It will retail for 2,530 JPY and is scheduled for release in March 2026!
The live-action "One Piece," officially launched on Netflix in August 2023, successfully overcame skepticism and achieved considerable success, recounting the story from Luffy's departure to his defeat of Arlong in the Conomi Islands. The latest trailer for the second season was also released earlier this month, featuring glimpses of Chopper, Robin, Vivi, and other crewmates, which is highly anticipated!
This "Going Merry -A Netflix Series: ONE PIECE-" model kit recreates the Going Merry, gifted to the Straw Hat Pirates by Kaya in the fourth episode, in a realistic live-action style, featuring a sculpted sheep's head and hull. Upon completion, stickers can be used to reproduce the Straw Hat Pirates' emblem on the sail! Continuing the series' tradition, in addition to the standard display base, a wave-effect base is included, allowing for the recreation of the Going Merry sailing through the waves!
