TAKARA TOMY's toy brand T-ARTS will release the second installment of the super popular Sanrio character-themed gashapon product, "Sanrio Characters Sushi," titled "Sanrio Characters Sushi 2." Each capsule will have a suggested retail price of 300 JPY, with an anticipated release in early September!
Following the first installment which featured Hello Kitty, Pochacco, and other characters, this "Sanrio Characters Sushi 2" once again combines delicious sushi with super popular Sanrio stars, offering customers adorable and tasty Sanrio character sushi! This collection includes five types: Bad Badtz-Maru as a black tuna nigiri, Pekkle as a bonito nigiri, Kuromi as a sweet shrimp nigiri, Hangyodon as an octopus nigiri, and Pompompurin as an inari sushi! Kuromi, like My Melody in the previous series, is designed carrying a sweet shrimp on her back, and the nori is wrapped so low it looks like it could easily fall off – utterly adorable! Pompompurin even has a grain of rice at the corner of his mouth; could it be that he, as a sushi, is secretly snacking?! These adorable designs absolutely demand to be collected alongside the first series to complete the full sushi meal!
