Bandai Spirits, a Japanese toy company, has announced the latest product in its Godzilla-themed action figure series, the "Godzilla Action Figure Godzilla (2003)", from "Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S.", scheduled for release on September 27, 2025.
In the previous film, "Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla", when battling Kiryu, Godzilla sustained a chest injury from a close-range hit by Kiryu's most powerful weapon, the "Absolute Zero Cannon", and immediately retreated to the depths of the Pacific Ocean to heal. After lying dormant for a year, Godzilla once again landed in Japan, influenced by the "First Godzilla's skeleton" used in Kiryu's central structure, and engaged in a decisive battle with Kiryu and Mothra in Tokyo.
The "Godzilla Action Figure Godzilla (2003)" is crafted at a height of approximately 14 cm, meticulously recreating details such as its ferocious head, cool sharp dorsal fins, and full-body skin texture. Furthermore, the chest can be swapped with interchangeable parts to display both wounded and unwounded appearances from the films. The figure also boasts 17 points of articulation, allowing for dynamic battle poses from the film with its simple joint design.
