Japanese toy company Kotobukiya, in collaboration with renowned illustrator Shunya Yamashita, has announced the latest addition to their "BISHOUJO" figure brand, based on "The King of Fighters '97": the "SNK BISHOUJO Orochi Shermie" 1/7 scale PVC pre-painted complete figure! The suggested retail price is 17,600 JPY, with an estimated release in April 2026.
First appearing in "The King of Fighters '97," the female character Shermie (シェルミー/Shermie) is a French-born fashion designer and fighter, who also moonlights as a keyboardist and vocalist for a band. She is one of the Four Heavenly Kings of the Orochi clan, possessing the power of lightning. Normally, she has a free-spirited, somewhat ditzy "big sister" personality, often described as having an adult body with a childlike heart; however, upon awakening into her Orochi clan state, her personality transforms into a cool and mature one.
Kotobukiya's "SNK BISHOUJO Orochi Shermie" 1/7 scale PVC pre-painted complete figure is based on the previously released "Shermie," featuring a reinterpreted illustration by Shunya Yamashita. Combining this with the meticulously sculpted voluptuousness by sculptor ke (Komakko), she reappears with the "Orochi Shermie" color scheme! Recreating the heart-stopping pose of her hidden special move, "F-Cup Temptation," her alluring open-chest outfit paired with her tanned skin... her charm is further enhanced! The form-fitting short skirt accentuates her full hips, and her plump thighs are also incredibly captivating. Furthermore, the base has been changed to an impressive scene from "The King of Fighters '97"!
