Dark Horse Comics' collectibles brand, Dark Horse Direct, recently announced a new product from the American-French adult animated series "Blue Eye Samurai": the "Mizu" Full-Body Statue! It is expected to ship in Q2 2026, with a suggested retail price of US$224.99, limited to 500 pieces.
"Blue Eye Samurai" was created and written by the husband-and-wife duo Michael Green and Amber Noizumi, directed by Jane Wu, and animated by Blue Spirit. The story is set in Edo-period, isolationist Japan. The protagonist, Mizu, is a mixed-race individual with blue eyes. At that time, Mizu, with foreign blood, was not accepted and was even called a demon. After her mother, with whom she lived, perished in a fire, Mizu resolved to personally wield her sword to slay the man who betrayed her mother, embarking on a path of revenge. "Blue Eye Samurai" boasts stunning visual presentation and incredibly satisfying combat design; toy collectors who enjoy action-packed thrillers should definitely check it out!
This "Mizu" statue by Dark Horse Direct stands approximately 10 inches (25.4 cm) tall. The overall design is based on the promotional key visual and her battle against The Four Fangs. It faithfully recreates her traditional conical hat, the dark blue main color scheme of her attire, and the orange-tinted, black-framed glasses used to conceal her blue eyes. Her sharp gaze is perfectly captured. The unsheathed katana not only displays sharp lines, but the engravings on the blade are also meticulously reproduced. The base realistically depicts rock textures, with dynamic, surging waves crafted around it.
