Japan's high-quality statue manufacturer Prime 1 Studio, renowned for its impressive scale and intricate details, has officially unveiled a new product in its "Ultimate Diorama Masterline" series: the "EVA Mass Production Model (Concept by Josh Nizzi)" non-scale statue, designed by concept artist Josh Nizzi, based on "Evangelion Theatrical Version"! It is scheduled for release from December 2026 to March 2027.
Designed by the globally renowned concept artist Josh Nizzi, who is responsible for the mechanical designs of countless film productions, this is the fifth installment: the "EVA Mass Production Model (Concept by Josh Nizzi)" non-scale statue. Featuring the EVA Mass Production Model, which left a psychological scar on fans in "The End of Evangelion" (Air/真心為你), the statue maintains the terrifying silhouette of the EVA Mass Production Model while injecting strong mechanical structures, fully presenting astonishing details! The body's white base tone is accented with dull metallic silver; the blade, predominantly striking purple, also exhibits intense tension in its exquisite design.
A mouthful of sharp fangs and gums are given a saliva-like sheen, emphasizing its biological nature. The apocalyptic scene is depicted on the base beneath its feet: a collapsed truss bridge, crumbling buildings, and Evangelion Unit-02, impaled and sinking into a sea of red... The nightmare once witnessed is resurrected in statue form.
The "EVA Mass Production Model (Concept by Josh Nizzi) DX Version" includes two iconic pieces of equipment: colossal, sky-obscuring wings and a replica of the Lance of Longinus, recreating the nightmarish figure Asuka witnessed! The massive wings are interpreted with complex mecha details, blending delicate weathering effects with the weighty feel of metal, presenting a mechanical atmosphere completely different from its original grotesque biological sense. Additionally, an interchangeable open-mouth head is included, offering a variety of display options.
