BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division in Japan has announced the latest product from the anime "Mobile Suit Gundam F91," the "Den'an Gei," from their Gunpla "RE/100" series, known for its highly detailed appearance and refined parts structure. It is scheduled for release in October 2025.
The XM-02 Den'an Gei is the main mass-production mobile suit utilized by the "Crossbone Vanguard," a private armed force led by the Ronah family, who advocated "Cosmo Aristocracy" in Universal Century 0123. This machine is a modification of the "Den'an Zon," another close-combat mobile suit from the same faction. In addition to improvements to its attitude control engines and sensor units, greater emphasis was placed on the machine's versatility. Consequently, it is equipped with medium to long-range armaments such as a beam rifle, beam shield, and shoulder-mounted triple grenade launcher, allowing it to exert combat power in space outside colonies.
The "RE/100 Den'an Gei" is constructed with multi-colored molded parts in gray, green, and red. It features a simple yet flexible movable joint design and richly detailed exterior armor parts, faithfully reproducing its gas mask-like head sculpt and body proportions true to the original design. The chest cockpit hatch even includes two color parts and markings seen in the show, allowing for free selection during assembly. Anti-slip components can be attached to the soles of its feet, recreating the scene from the show where it parades in snowy conditions. Accessories include a beam rifle, beam saber, wrist beam gun, and beam shield effect parts, which can be combined with its flexible articulation to recreate dynamic combat poses.
