Impulse Gundam Spec II Impulse Gundam Spec II
Appears in the theatrical film《Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM》. After the Second Bloody Valentine War, it was sent to Orb for refurbishment along with the Destiny Gundam, and was piloted by Lunamaria Hawke in the decisive battle at Foundation.
Although its appearance, armaments, and functions are no different from before its modifications, the difference lies in the installation of a new battery to increase energy efficiency, and the use of a brand-new VPS armor color setting to enhance resistance against physical and high-heat damage. When equipped with the Sword Silhouette, its entire body turns red and black; when equipped with the Blast Silhouette, its entire body turns dark green and olive green; and the Force Silhouette features deeper red, white, and blue colors than the old model. It can also be instantly recharged via the Destiny Gundam Spec II's "Deuterion Beam Energy Transfer System".
Approximately 14cm tall. Accessories include 3 types of interchangeable left and right hands, Sword Silhouette, Excalibur Laser Anti-Ship Sword ×2, Excalibur Laser Anti-Ship Sword (with perspective effect - large), Excalibur Laser Anti-Ship Sword (with perspective effect - small), Beam Boomerang, Railgun, Shield, Knife ×2, effect parts, connection parts, dedicated display stand, etc.
Based on the previously released Force Impulse Gundam, the main body design is fundamentally the same. Some movable frame parts are made of alloy, providing flexible articulation and a substantial feel. The paintwork has been changed to a rich dark red and black to reproduce the enhanced VPS armor, with original model markings printed in various locations. The armaments include the newly produced "Sword Silhouette Pack". The two characteristic weapons mounted on the backpack, the "Excalibur" Laser Anti-Ship Sword and the "Flash-Edge" Beam Boomerang, can both be detached and used with beam effect parts. The anti-ship swords can also be connected to form a double-bladed giant sword. Handheld armaments also include the Mobile Shield, two folding anti-armor knives, and the newly added prototype Type 35 Kai Railgun from the theatrical version.
The appearance is impeccably good, with the overall design composed of vibrant red and black, giving it a high-class feel. The QC is also genuinely good; the joints are tight, and articulation everywhere except the head is above standard.
Overall, this is an excellent product! If you see it available in the market and it's not at a scalper's price, feel free to acquire it!
