BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has announced the latest product from its popular assembly model Shokugan series, "SHOKUGAN MODELING PROJECT," featuring "Armed Combination Fighbird Clear Color Ver." from the classic robot anime "The Brave Fighter of Sun Fighbird," slated for release in February 2026.
"SMP Armed Combination Fighbird Clear Color Ver." is a modified version based on the previously released standard edition. All parts have been replaced with clear white, clear blue, clear red, clear gray, and clear yellow molded colors, achieving a jewel-like, crystal texture with high transparency. It also includes new detail-up stickers, presenting an even stronger metallic feel than the standard version.
Once completed, the kit can form "Fire Jet," "Fire Shuttle," "Yutaro Hoshikawa Android Form," and various accessories. Through its transformation and combination mechanism, Fire Jet can transform into Fighbird, which then combines with Fire Shuttle to form "Armed Combination Fighbird." With the Flame Sword and flame effect parts, you can recreate powerful special moves. The Yutaro Hoshikawa figure also features flexible articulated joints, allowing for various dynamic poses.
