Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya has announced the latest model kit product, "Maximum Kizuna Kaiser," from the manga "Red Ranger in Another World Becomes an Adventurer," slated for release in February 2026.
"Maximum Kizuna Kaiser" is the giant robot utilized by the "Kizuna Sentai Kizuna Five," the Sentai heroes from the real world in the story. It is formed by the combination of five Kizuna Beasts piloted by five warriors. Although one person can summon all machines to combine, the machine's performance is affected by the number of people and Kizuna energy. When the protagonist, Togo Asagaki / Kizuna Red, is reincarnated into another world, he can only fight alone and cannot unleash the full power of Kizuna Kaiser. However, new companions like Idola, whom he meets in the other world, can provide Kizuna Kaiser with new Kizuna energy.
The "Maximum Kizuna Kaiser Model Kit" is produced with fully articulated specifications, standing 17 cm tall, with the transformation and combination mechanism omitted. It meticulously pursues precise detail based on the 3DCG model used in the anime version, and extensively reproduces the body colors using a rich array of pre-colored parts. Even the characteristic "band-aid" on the head's cheek is recreated with tiny parts. Furthermore, various components such as the torso, limbs, and wings can be individually detached, allowing for the recreation of the five-machine combination moment.
The entire model utilizes a rich number of pivot and ball joints, combined with double joints at the elbows and knees, and pull-out joints at the shoulders and feet, allowing for a wide range of flexible poses. Accessories include the exclusive weapon, the "Invincible Kizuna Sword," measuring 19 cm in length, enabling cool poses with both hands holding the sword.
Furthermore, customers who order this product through official Kotobukiya channels such as the KOTOBUKIYA SHOP will receive limited bonus parts to recreate additional armaments. These include a replacement part for the chest that opens into a Tyrannosaurus mouth, recreating the powerful special move "Maximum Kizuna Beam" which gathers Kizuna energy, as well as the "Hope Kizuna Scepter," a weapon that embodies the Kizuna of the heroine Idola.
