BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division in Japan has announced the latest additions to its original assembly model series, '30 MINUTES FANTASY,' which features a fantasy world theme. The new products, "Liebel Swordsman" and "Rosan Swordsman," are scheduled for release in January 2026 and March 2026, respectively.
'30 MINUTES FANTASY' is a new series themed around various fantasy world classes. It inherits the 30 MINUTES series' characteristics of easy assembly, simple structure, and infinite customization. Builders can assemble a highly articulated base body, flexible like the human form, and attach various class-specific armor parts using the 3mm expansion ports located throughout the body. As the product lineup expands, characters can progressively upgrade from beginner to advanced classes, much like a job change system in an RPG, continuously strengthening their character.
The latest 30MF release introduces one of the classic classes from fantasy works throughout history: the "Swordsman." The kit utilizes the same highly articulated base body as previous "Knight" products. With multi-axis articulation mechanisms in the limbs, chest, waist, and neck, it can achieve natural and dynamic poses such as running, heroic landings, high kneeling, and cross-legged sitting. The base body also features numerous standard 3mm connection ports and limb expansion ring joints, allowing for combination with separately sold '30 MINUTES' series products and free mixing of parts from different characters, in addition to its own weaponry.
・ Liebel Swordsman
The newly designed armor parts feature a focus on protecting key areas, covering less of the base body compared to the Knight, thus emphasizing the Swordsman's agile, sword-dancing combat style. Precise sculpting highlights the layers and rivet details on the armor. Accessories include weapons such as a "long sword," "short sword," and "round shield." The long sword and short sword can even be connected to form a "double-bladed sword," allowing for various spectacular sword-fighting poses.
・ Rosan Swordsman
The "Swordsman" products from the Liebel and Rosan factions differ in appearance. In terms of part molding colors, the Liebel Swordsman features brass-colored weaponry, a black base body, and a clear red "Fire Element Core," while the Rosan Swordsman has silver-white weaponry, a dark blue base body, and a clear blue "Water Element Core." Furthermore, the helmet designs are distinctly different for each. By combining with separately sold "Upgrade Armor," they can be transformed into the advanced class "Gladiator."
