BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division in Japan has announced the latest products in its original model kit series, '30 MINUTES FANTASY,' which features a fantasy world theme. The 'Class-Up Armor (Liber Gladiator)' and 'Class-Up Armor (Rosan Gladiator)' are scheduled for release in January 2026 and March 2026, respectively.
'30 MINUTES FANTASY' is a new series themed around various fantasy world classes. Inheriting the 30 MINUTES series' characteristics of easy assembly, simple structure, and infinite customization, it allows for the creation of highly articulated base bodies that move as flexibly as a human. By utilizing the 3mm expansion ports on various parts of the base body, different class exteriors can be attached. As the product lineup expands, characters can gradually upgrade from beginner to advanced classes, continuously strengthening them much like a job change system in an RPG.
The newly released 'Class-Up Armor' is an expansion parts set designed for use with the separately sold 'Liber Swordsman' and 'Rosan Swordsman' main bodies. Utilizing the common 3mm standard parts connectors, the Class-Up Armor can be swapped or combined with the original swordsman's armor and weapon parts to recreate the advanced class, the 'Gladiator.' It features a more striking armor design and a wider variety of armaments.
・Class-Up Armor (Liber Gladiator)
The 'Class-Up Armor (Liber Gladiator)' and 'Class-Up Armor (Rosan Gladiator)' each adopt corresponding molded part colors to the 'Liber Swordsman' and 'Rosan Swordsman.' The overall design is based on the swordsman's armor, expanding the defensive area of the skirt armor and round shield. The upper body features new fabric decorations such as tassels and cloaks. The original longsword can be combined with blade extension parts to recreate a large sword, and a 'long spear' exceeding the length of the main body is also included, recreating the background setting of battling in an arena.
