Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company HOBBY Division has announced the latest product in its original assembly model series, 『30 MINUTES MISSIONS』, known for its quick assembly, ease of customization, and the appeal of mass-produced units. The "eEXM-9dm Baskyrott Custom (Underwater Specification)" is scheduled for release in January 2026.
The eEXM-9dm Baskyrott Custom (Underwater Specification) originates from the 30MM unit project 『ANOTHER EXAMACS PLAN』, which focuses on hero units. Compared to the mass-produced specifications sold generally, this series introduces special specification units that are used only by special forces and are crucial for determining victory or defeat. In the 『30 MINUTES MISSIONS』 series lore, the Baskyrott is an old model land-combat EXAMACS previously operated by the Earth Alliance Army. This release features a heavily modified underwater specification.
"eEXM-9dm Baskyrott Custom (Underwater Specification)" is based on a modified version of the previously released standard kit. Under the supervision of designer Kanetake Ebikawa, it utilizes a large number of new parts to recreate the distinctive head, chest, limbs, and armor of the underwater specification. It also adopts a blue-toned molded parts color to reproduce the special unit's color scheme. The accessories also include newly designed dedicated water decals, allowing for rich unit markings such as the Earth Alliance Army naval emblem, yellow and white lines, and warning text, giving the unit a more realistic feel.
In addition to the parts that constitute the main body in the lore, the accessories also include powerful large armaments such as a torpedo launcher, shield, and machine gun, as well as a rifle, shield, and armor parts used in the standard specification, allowing players to customize it to their liking. Furthermore, both the Baskyrott main body and the auxiliary robot "Roy-Roy" are designed to transform into a cruise form. After transformation, "Roy-Roy" can also be mounted beneath Baskyrott's backpack.
