BANDAI CANDY, the shokugan division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has announced today the highly anticipated fifth wave of the highly acclaimed "Mobile Suit Gundam" GK model style shokugan series, 'GUNDAM ARTIFACT'. The product, "GUNDAM ARTIFACT 6," is scheduled for release in February 2026.
'GUNDAM ARTIFACT' is a shokugan product designed to emulate Garage Kits (GK kits). Made from ABS material, it features an earth-yellow molded color reminiscent of synthetic resin. At a mini size of approximately 5.5 cm in height, it faithfully reproduces mobile suits in realistic proportions and can be disassembled into approximately 70 parts, each boasting high-density details, challenging the eyesight and painting skills of model enthusiasts. Despite the numerous parts, the individual unit price is remarkably affordable and offers great value, with each mobile suit costing only about 500 Japanese Yen.
This sixth wave features 7 classic mobile suits from the renowned theatrical film "Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack." These include: Amuro Ray's ν Gundam, Char Aznable's Sazabi, Re-GZ, Jagd Doga (Gyunei Guss Custom), Jagd Doga (Quess Paraya Custom), Geara Doga (Rezin Schnyder Custom), and Geara Doga.
Each mobile suit's design has been reinterpreted in the distinctive 'GUNDAM ARTIFACT' series style, featuring more exaggerated armor designs, high-density mechanical details, and feet resembling aircraft landing gear compared to their original settings. Among them, the Re-GZ can even transform into its Waverider (WR) form by swapping parts. Additionally, each mobile suit comes with dedicated weapon accessories such as beam rifles and beam shot rifles, showcasing the charm of each mobile suit in exquisite detail at a compact size.
