The Ultraman articulated figure candy toy series 'Shodo Alpha', released by BANDAI CANDY, the candy toy division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has announced its latest 14th installment, 'Shodo Alpha Ultraman 14', scheduled for release in January 2026.
'Shodo Alpha' is an evolved version of the previous Shodo series, launched in 2022. It is an articulated Ultraman-themed candy toy figure, approximately 10 cm tall, featuring faithfully reproduced designs and colors. Compared to the old version, a new independent movable part has been added to the hip joint, further enhancing the leg sculpt and range of motion. Each Ultraman figure will come with its dedicated beam effect parts, and can be combined with numerous weapons from the expansion parts set for enhanced playability.
The latest 14th installment will feature four characters: Ultraman Omega, Ultraman Cosmos Luna Mode, Ultraman Titas, and Mother of Ultra. Including the returning Ultraman Omega, each figure comes with its signature beam effect parts. Ultraman Omega can also be equipped with the standalone "Valkyries Armor" to change forms. The expansion parts set includes the Valkyries Armor's dedicated weapons, Titas's "Destruction Orb", Mother of Ultra's "Power Beam" for training Taro, and other abundant accessories.
