Japanese gashapon brand Kitan Club (奇譚クラブ), in collaboration with designer Naoko Yatou (ヤトウナオコ), has once again announced the latest fourth installment in their "Bird's Holiday" series: the "Bird's Holiday Budgerigar" gashapon. There are a total of six designs, with a reference price of 400 JPY per capsule, and release is scheduled for September 2025!
The protagonist of this installment passes the baton from the sparrows (who went down a path of no return) to the adorable budgerigars! Kitan Club's "Bird's Holiday Budgerigar" gashapon infuses a relaxed, lazy lounging atmosphere into the little parrots. The collection includes: Cockatiel A and Cockatiel B, both with wings propping their cheeks; Lovebird A and Lovebird B, with wings supporting their heads; and Budgerigar A and Budgerigar B, lying on their backs with bellies exposed. The intricate feather textures are delicately carved and finished with exquisite paintwork to reproduce their vibrant plumage. The anthropomorphic poses are incredibly cute, and when paired with different scenes, they seem to offer a rather satirical charm?
