In capsule toys, various anthropomorphic animals have always been an undefeated classic theme. However, TAKARA TOMY A.R.T.S has now added the element of "isekai reincarnation"! A total of five types of **"Isekai Cat"** capsule toys are available for collection, scheduled for release this October, with a suggested retail price of 300 JPY per capsule.
Highlighting the two popular themes of "Isekai" x "Cats", the "Isekai Cat" series, which features a miraculous collaboration in capsule toys, has a backstory where "a tabby cat that died in an accident is reincarnated into a world of swords and magic, filled with cats". Following this setting, the tabby cat's companions and enemies it must fight have all transformed into adorable felines! This includes the protagonist "The Guided Tabby Cat", the tall and robust "Persian Kingdom Knight", the petite "Black Cat Mage", and the two villains: the hairless "Goblin Sphynx" and the "Orc Exotic Shorthair".
In addition to the excellent portrayal of cat breeds and fur colors, the costumes and equipment in this work are also quite impressive! For example, the protagonist Tabby Cat's initial armor set, the knight's magnificent armor and sapphire-studded longsword, the interesting combination of a hairless cat with a goblin image, and the super small helmet on the Orc Exotic Shorthair, resembling a mini-boss – they get cuter the more you look at them! The size is approximately 5-6.5 cm. Upon closer inspection, it seems there's even a great demon lord among the villains! We hope for a sequel.
