As the Japan World Expo 2025 in Osaka successfully concludes, TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectors' toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., has finally announced the commercialization of the new "GLASS FEATHER" equipment for its classic die-cast toy "CHOGOKIN" series. This new product is based on the video work "GUNDAM: Next Universal Century" shown inside the Gundam Pavilion. The release date is yet to be determined.

In the exhibition area of the 2025 Japan World Expo (Osaka-Kansai Expo), the 17-meter-tall "RX-78F00/E Gundam Life-sized Statue" standing next to the "GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION" exhibition hall was modified from the previous life-sized movable Gundam at "GUNDAM FACTORY YOKOHAMA" in Yokohama. It was redesigned into a non-movable, high-kneeling statue gazing up at the universe. The shoulder armor, skirt armor, and leg armor on its left half were replaced with new designs resembling solar panels. When night falls, a special performance with accompanying lighting and smoke effects will take place.
However, the statue outside the pavilion is not the complete form of this "RX-78F00/E Gundam." A completely new video work played inside the pavilion will lead viewers into a "world where humans and mobile suits coexist," experiencing a journey to a space workstation via an orbital elevator. Along the way, they will see a Gundam equipped with magnificent solar panel wings, the "GLASS FEATHER," on its back, engaging in battle with the "Zeong MA Type" attacking the workstation.

"CHOGOKIN EX-001 GLASS FEATHER" has currently revealed some product images. This product can combine with the separately sold "RX-78F00/E Gundam" main unit to recreate its complete form. The solar panel parts are rendered with clear blue components, and movable mechanisms can be seen in the mechanical arms and thrusters. Detailed information will be announced at a later date.
