Japanese toy company Kotobukiya (コトブキヤ), aiming to expand its global market, has announced its brand new series "OSHI WORKS." The first wave features the popular game "Silent Hill 2" as its theme, releasing a "Abstract Daddy" 1/7 scale figure. The suggested retail price is 8,800 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in May 2026.
In the game "Silent Hill 2," the repulsive monster character "Abstract Daddy" is a projection of Angela's inner nightmare. It appears in a narrow room made of viscous flesh walls, and both its bizarre appearance and attack methods are extremely disgusting.
The "OSHI WORKS Abstract Daddy" 1/7 scale figure measures approximately 15 cm tall. It meticulously captures the twisted monster's form, resembling it lying on a bed. The paintwork creates a wet, membrane-like texture, and pale, zombie-like hands and feet are exposed at the bottom. The overall appearance is truly terrifying and repulsive. Considering the trauma it represents, one can't help but wonder... why was this even commercialized?
