The 1/100 scale Gundam plastic model "MG (Master Grade)" series, released by the HOBBY Division of BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd. Japan, known for its excellent part separation, internal frame structure, and rich articulation mechanisms, today unveiled the prototype of its new product, "MG 1/100 Full Armor ZZ Gundam Ver. Ka", at the "All Japan Model & Hobby Show". It is scheduled for release in February 2026.
While the MSZ-010 ZZ Gundam is a mobile suit equipped with various high-firepower beam and projectile weapons, its structural strength was somewhat weak due to its transformation and combination from three fighter jets. To counter the increasingly powerful forces of Neo Zeon and the monstrous huge MA "NZ-000 Quin Mantha", the AEUG first proposed an enhancement plan, resulting in the "Enhanced ZZ Gundam". Later, utilizing data from the test unit FAZZ, the "Full Armor ZZ Gundam" was developed with comprehensively enhanced defense, firepower, and mobility.
The "MG 1/100 Full Armor ZZ Gundam Ver.Ka" continues the design of previous products "Enhanced ZZ Gundam Ver.Ka" and "FAZZ Ver.Ka", adding detachable additional armor parts, allowing free conversion between "Full Armor ZZ Gundam" and "Enhanced ZZ Gundam" forms. The super-huge weapon "Hyper Mega Cannon", which did not appear in the anime, is also included. The part design is essentially the same as the FAZZ version, allowing for dynamic shooting poses.
