Japanese model company KAIYODO's popular action figure series "AMAZING YAMAGUCHI" is releasing a new Marvel Comics-themed product – the "Symbiote Spider-Man" action figure. The suggested retail price is 11,000 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in June 2026!
The Symbiote suit first appeared in *The Amazing Spider-Man* #252. During *Secret Wars*, Peter accidentally released the symbiote while repairing his suit, which then bonded with his Spider-Man costume and enhanced his various abilities. Initially, Peter felt completely at ease using this Symbiote suit to fight crime, until various strange occurrences led him to discover that his suit was actually alive, and he attempted to escape its control.
This Symbiote Spider-Man action figure stands approximately 16 cm tall. The prototype was personally sculpted by series director Katsuhisa Yamaguchi. The figure features symbiote-like vascular textures sculpted onto Spider-Man's lean musculature, painted with a glossy black finish to capture the symbiote's unique reflective texture, and the white spider symbol on the chest is faithfully recreated, reproducing Spider-Man's iconic appearance when bonded with the symbiote!
Accessories include three sets of interchangeable hands, one interchangeable head sculpt, a pair of symbiote effects that can be attached to the back, and various translucent web effects. These can be combined with the flexible articulation of the Yamaguchi-style joint system to pose a wide range of dynamic and challenging actions! Furthermore, pre-orders through KAIYODO's designated channels will also include an exclusive interchangeable head sculpt depicting the symbiote's corruption, with eyes resembling Venom, adding to the playability!
