Japanese figure manufacturer GOOD SMILE COMPANY will release Q-version figures of "Kumakichi" and "Usami" from the anime "Gag Manga Biyori GO" as part of their new "Mini memory" series! The reference price is 2,500 JPY each, and they are scheduled for release in May 2026.
The classic gag anime "Gag Manga Biyori GO" (ギャグマンガ日和 GO), returning after 15 years, is adapted from the gag manga by cartoonist Kousuke Masuda (増田こうすけ). The "Usami-chan with a sharp gaze" and "Kumakichi-kun arrested by the police" that appeared in the "Detective Usami" arc are still popular internet memes today.
"Mini Memory" is a Q-version figure series that uses scenes from the work as its main visual, conveying the idea of "wanting to display cherished memories nearby." The first wave features the "Mini memory Kumakichi" Q-version figure, which recreates the cute animated design in a small size of approximately 8.5 cm, wearing a (stolen) school swimsuit, considered perverted, with a satisfied smile and a slightly lewd posture; paired with the "Mini memory Usami" Q-version figure, whose gaze is incredibly sharp, it perfectly recreates the tense moment when the case is about to be solved and the police are about to arrive!
