Danish LEGO toy company recently officially announced its latest product from the Ideas series, set number 21363, named after the adventure-comedy film released in 1985, "The Goonies"! It is scheduled for release on November 4, 2025, with a suggested retail price of US$329.99.
The original designer of this set is Vaggelis Ntezes (Delusion Brick), who has always been a loyal fan of the LEGO Pirates series. He thus decided to base his creation on One-Eyed Willy's pirate ship, the Inferno, from the movie, crafting a piece that combines both the ship's appearance and a play scene. The commercialized version boasts 2912 pieces, and once assembled, stands approximately 36 cm tall and an astonishing 62 cm long! It also retains the essence of Vaggelis Ntezes' original design, which was both playable and displayable, though the front and back designs have been swapped.

The front of the model allows you to relive the thrilling adventures and discover small Easter eggs from The Goonies! This includes various caves, One-Eyed Willy's treasure chamber, the Fratelli family's basement printing press, the Fratelli family's wanted poster, brown water, as well as mechanisms like pressable bone organ keys and falling boulders. The back features the Inferno's hull constructed from numerous brown and black pieces, accented with gold elements, and also showcases cannons, masts, and torn sails. With 12 minifigures of classic characters from the film, it's sure to be an absolute delight for dedicated fans!
▼ LEGO even invited Ke Huy Quan, who played "Data" in "The Goonies," to participate in the photoshoot for this LEGO set.
