Japanese brand GOODSMILE COMPANY's "Nendoroid" series, which features over a thousand characters, is releasing its latest product based on the classic popular anime "HUNTER x HUNTER" – the "Meruem" articulated figure. The suggested retail price is 7,300 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in July 2026!
The Chimera Ant King Meruem possessed overwhelming power, speed, and intelligence from the moment of his birth, and was considered the ultimate lifeform of the Chimera Ant species. He could gain the abilities and fragmented memories of strong individuals by consuming them, and grew rapidly in a short period due to his exceptional learning ability. After encountering the human girl Komugi, he gradually underwent changes in his emotions and values, developing a new understanding of power, life, and equality.
This Nendoroid Meruem stands approximately 10 cm tall. While maintaining a cute body proportion, his appearance from the series is faithfully sculpted, with iconic long earlobes, his imposing tail, and other details exquisitely reproduced! Three expression parts are included: a standard face, an excited face, and a surprised face. Accessories include leg parts for a sitting pose, allowing you to recreate interactions and battle scenes from the series with previously released characters such as "Neferpitou" and "Chairman Netero"!
Furthermore, pre-orders placed on the GOODSMILE official website will include a special background card featuring his famous quote: "I will destroy, and then I will bestow. Even if it cannot be called perfect equality, it will at least be a world without absurd disparities!!" to complement your display!
