They've just announced a collaboration with Houbunsha's classic girl band series, "K-ON!", dropping a full-graphic windbreaker jacket featuring all five members of the Sakuragaoka Light Music Club. Priced at 26,400 JPY, this limited-edition item is made-to-order.
"K-ON!" originally began serialization in Houbunsha's four-panel manga magazine "Manga Time Kirara" in 2007. It then exploded in popularity after Kyoto Animation adapted it into a TV anime, which aired in April 2009, cementing its status as one of the quintessential Japanese girl band series.
The jacket features a full-graphic print of all five Sakuragaoka Light Music Club members: Yui Hirasawa, Mio Akiyama, Ritsu Tainaka, Tsumugi Kotobuki, and Azusa Nakano. Various illustrations of the characters are interspersed throughout the design, making it the perfect way for "K-ON!" fans to show off their love for the entire band!
