Japanese toy company KOTOBUKIYA's "ARTFX J" series, which features scale figures based on popular Japanese anime, manga, and game characters, yesterday (10th) revealed the painted prototype of its third new installment from Yu-Gi-Oh! by Japanese manga artist Kazuki Takahashi: "Seto Kaiba -The Fierce Duelists-"!
From Atem and Seto in ancient Egyptian times, traversing three millennia to the modern era, the intense rivalries between Yugi (Dark) and Kaiba can once again be brought to life in the ARTFX J series! "Seto Kaiba -The Fierce Duelists-" fully reproduces President Kaiba's iconic hairstyle, his serious dueling expression, the classic Duel Disk, and his silver-white coat that seems to have rebar embedded (lol), presenting a powerful card-playing pose. The folds of the clothing, the metallic texture of the wristbands and belt, the sharp lines of the Duel Disk, the patterns on the cards in his hand, the untouched 4000 Life Points... all these details are excellently rendered. We look forward to the full announcement.
