Japanese toy company Kotobukiya (コトブキヤ), under its new "OSHI WORKS" series, has once again announced its latest product based on the popular anime "Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters," following the "Blue-Eyes White Dragon." This new item is the "OSHI WORKS Red-Eyes Black Dragon," with a suggested retail price of 9,350 JPY, scheduled for release in July 2026.
The Dark Attribute, 7-star Dragon-Type monster card "Red-Eyes Black Dragon" is an ultra-rare card comparable to Blue-Eyes White Dragon. As its name suggests, it has a black body and a pair of red eyes, capable of spewing furious "Inferno Fire Blast" to incinerate enemies in its path. In the story, it was originally owned by Rex Raptor, but after Katsuya Jonouchi miraculously won it, it became Jonouchi's ace monster.
The "OSHI WORKS Red-Eyes Black Dragon" non-scale figure, with an impressive height of 24 cm, faithfully recreates the powerful design details of Red-Eyes Black Dragon. The sharp lines of its body are fully restored, and its massive wings exude an imposing presence. The entire figure is finished with a pearlescent coating, and details like its crimson eyes and numerous sharp teeth give it a fierce and cool look. Cylindrical shafts are used in the head, shoulders, legs, and support pillars, allowing for angle adjustments based on the display space. The base is also designed in a square shape for easy placement.
