FW GUNDAM CONVERGE CORE "Psycho Gundam Mk-II" Features Enhanced Paintwork and Texture, Recreates MA Form and Various Armaments!

Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd.'s candy toy division, BANDAI CANDY, has announced the latest product from its popular candy toy series "FW GUNDAM CONVERGE": the "FW GUNDAM CONVERGE CORE Psycho Gundam Mk-II" from "Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam," slated for release in June 2026.

The MRX-010 Psycho Gundam Mk-II is a successor unit developed by the Murasame Laboratory based on combat data from the Psycho Gundam. It retains the impressive 40-meter height and features improved armaments and power systems, enabling operations in space. The unit is equipped with a Minovsky Craft system, I-Field, and MA transformation mechanism, along with numerous beam cannons capable of multi-directional firing and reflector bits, making it an even more terrifying weapon of destruction. However, the Titans used the brainwashed and modified Rosamia Badam as its pilot, tragically repeating the fate of the enhanced human girl, Four Murasame.

The "FW GUNDAM CONVERGE CORE Psycho Gundam Mk-II" is based on the EX22 version released in 2018. The product includes the Psycho Gundam Mk-II and accessories such as the "Wired Psycho Beam Sword," which was sold separately at the time. The main body, standing approximately 10 cm tall, features new metallic and matte paintwork and over 10 additional decal prints, giving it a more substantial and textured appearance. By replacing certain parts, it can also recreate its folded MA (Mobile Armor) form.

With the included variety of armament accessories, the Psycho Gundam Mk-II can be equipped with its massive shield, and cable parts can be used to recreate the firing pose of its twin arms. It also comes with dedicated arms and beam effects to reproduce the "Wired Psycho Beam Sword" armament hidden within its arms, allowing for the recreation of impressive battle poses from the series.
