The "METAL ROBOT魂" series, issued by Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Toy Division TAMASHII NATIONS, which combines metallic texture coating and an alloy frame, has announced the commercialization of the popular mobile suit "Sazabi" from "Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack." The release date is yet to be determined.
The "MSN-04 Sazabi," piloted by Commander Char Aznable, is a large MS approximately 26 meters in length, incorporating technology from successive Zeon-type mobile suits. The entire machine is equipped with fuel tanks and numerous thrusters and attitude control nozzles, allowing it to exhibit excellent mobility in space despite its seemingly bulky appearance. In terms of firepower, this machine is armed with a high-output large beam rifle, a large beam tomahawk, a belly-mounted diffuse mega particle cannon, and other weapons. Additionally, parts of its internal structure utilize a psycho-frame, allowing Char to unleash his Newtype abilities and control the 6 funnels mounted on its back to perform all-range attacks.
TAMASHII NATIONS has also preemptively revealed the rear design of the "METAL ROBOT魂 Sazabi." The entire machine primarily uses two colors of paint: matte bright red and metallic dark red, giving the refined armor surface design more layered variations. The numerous yellow thrusters throughout the body are intricately detailed internally, combined with partially exposed alloy frames to create a strong sense of mechanical weight. For weaponry, a beam shotgun, shield, and the funnels mounted on the back can currently be seen. More detailed information will be released at a later date.
