World-renowned Hong Kong toy brand Hot Toys has unveiled a teaser video for its new 1/6 scale collectible action figures based on the popular animated film "Kpop Demon Hunters" on its official Instagram account!
Sony Pictures Animation's animated film "Kpop Demon Hunters" tells the story of the popular South Korean girl group HUNTR/X, who inherit the mission of generations of demon hunters, operating as a popular girl group while secretly hunting demons lurking among humans. The film garnered immense attention upon its release, and it was recently announced that a sequel will be released in 2029!
Since the film's release, fans have eagerly awaited "Kpop Demon Hunters"-themed toys. The overwhelming popularity has also led to a proliferation of various absurd counterfeit products, leaving fans amused and frustrated. However, since Hot Toys announced at the end of last year that they would be releasing "Kpop Demon Hunters" merchandise, we can finally get a glimpse of the high-quality HUNTR/X 1/6 scale collectible action figures! The currently released teaser video shows the outfits worn by Rumi, Mira, and Zoe during their opening performance of "How It's Done." The costumes are recreated with fabric tailoring, and the elbow joints are hidden with a seamless design. The figures will also include the three demon hunters' exclusive weapons—the Four Tiger Sword, the Scimitar, and the Divine Blade!
