BANDAI SPIRITS' collector toy division, TAMASHII NATIONS, has announced new versions of Kamen Rider BLACK and Shadow Moon from "Kamen Rider Black" for their S.H.Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou series on their official Instagram account, in addition to the previously revealed Kamen Rider BLACK RX!
"Kamen Rider Black" is a tokusatsu series from the Kamen Rider franchise that first aired in 1987. Conceived with the idea of returning to the series' roots, it utilized the latest technology to refresh the world-building established since "Kamen Rider Super-1." The story follows young Kotaro Minami, who, on the eve of his 19th birthday, is abducted along with his stepbrother Nobuhiko Akizuki by the sinister organization Gorgom. They are designated as candidates for the "next Creation King" and subjected to modification with the King Stone. Kotaro fortunately escapes during the chaos and subsequently transforms into Kamen Rider Black to fight against Gorgom.
Following the April 2021 release of the S.H.Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider BLACK and the October 2021 release of the S.H.Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Shadow Moon, these two fated rivals are now set to return as new versions: "S.H.Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider BLACK KINGSTONE FLASH EDITION" and "S.H.Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Shadow Moon FLASH EDITION"! Currently, the official images provided are of the 2021 versions and are for illustrative purposes only. Further details will be revealed at a later date, and fans are eagerly awaiting more information!
