Danish toy company LEGO has officially announced a new F1 racing-themed release under its "LEGO Icons" series, "Ferrari F2004 & Michael Schumacher," slated for release on March 1, 2026! The suggested retail price is US$89.99 (Taiwanese dollar price is NT$3,199). LEGO Certified Stores in Taiwan are also offering an exclusive pre-order bonus: a unique A1 racing poster.
Following 2024's "McLaren MP4/4 & Ayrton Senna" and 2025's "Williams Racing FW14B & Nigel Mansell," the 2026 F1 car and driver set will feature another legend, Michael Schumacher, alongside the red warhorse that dominated the 2004 season, the Ferrari F2004. It's no exaggeration to say that in the early 2000s, even those who weren't F1 fans knew the name Michael Schumacher; his name was practically synonymous with F1 racing at the time.
This set comprises 735 pieces, building into a model approximately 7 cm high and 32 cm long. It includes a meticulously detailed Ferrari F2004, a display stand for the race car, a minifigure of the racing god Schumacher in his Ferrari team red uniform, a trophy, and a podium-style base. The Ferrari F2004 features a functional steering system, a finely detailed cockpit, an abundance of sponsor stickers, and slick tires printed with the "Bridgestone Potenza" logo from the Japanese tire manufacturer. The top cover can also be lifted to admire the internal V10 engine.
