From Japanese model manufacturer GOOD SMILE COMPANY's mechanical-themed brand MECHA SMILE, the completed combining toy series 『THE GATTAI』 has announced its latest product from The Brave Fighter of Legend Da-Garn, "Land Bison", scheduled for release in January 2027.
The Braves who have protected Earth since ancient times – Trailer Bison, Drill Bison, Sonic Bison, and Turbo Bison – each possess the appearance of modern land vehicles. In addition to transforming into their individual robot forms, they can also combine into the colossal land-combat robot "Land Bison". In contrast to the aerial-combat type Sky Bison, Land Bison excels in land and sea operations. His bold and rugged personality might suggest a powerful close-combat character, but his true strength lies in various projectile weapons. Upon his first appearance, he used the Land Cannons on his back to shoot a thrown shield, precisely downing enemy machines with ricochets.
"THE GATTAI Land Bison" includes the four Brave Robots: Trailer Bison, Drill Bison, Sonic Bison, and Turbo Bison. Although their proportions have been adjusted to faithfully recreate the combined form, all four machines feature excellent articulated joint designs. In robot mode, their limb joints are fully poseable, and they can be equipped with weapons such as two Land Cannons, a Turbo Rifle, a Sonic Pistol, and a Drill Excavator. Furthermore, they can completely transform into their vehicle forms.
Through a complete combination mechanism that leaves no leftover parts and uses no dedicated extra parts, the four machines can form "Land Bison", standing approximately 27 cm tall. This figure boasts a high degree of poseability, exquisite detailed sculpting, and a cool, well-proportioned physique. The two Land Cannons can be mounted on his back, while the other three weapons can combine to form the Bison Blaster. The drill parts on his shoulders can also be detached individually to recreate the "Land Crusher" firing state.
