Bandai Co., Ltd.'s GASHAPON capsule toy division is releasing a new product based on the popular anime *Frieren: Beyond Journey's End* – the "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Hanging Mascot Charm 2" capsule toy. The suggested retail price is 400 JPY per play, and it is scheduled to launch in the fourth week of February 2026!
*Frieren: Beyond Journey's End* is a Japanese manga series written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe. In 2023, it was adapted into a TV anime by MADHOUSE animation studio. The story follows Frieren, an elf protagonist with an exceptionally long lifespan, who, after the passing of her former companion, the hero Himmel, realizes the fleeting beauty of human life. She then embarks on a journey of self-discovery with the disciples of two of her past comrades, seeking to understand human emotions.
Following the first wave, which featured Frieren, Fern, and Stark, this "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Hanging Mascot Charm 2" capsule toy series focuses on Frieren's past party from her demon-slaying days. Crafted in an adorable approximately 2-head-tall chibi style, these charms depict Frieren, Himmel, Heiter, and Eisen in suspended poses. The charm loops on their collars perfectly capture the look of them being dangled in mid-air! Himmel and Heiter each come in two different facial expressions in addition to their standard designs; both Himmel's narcissistic face and Heiter's hungover look are absolutely fantastic! Continuing the design from the first wave, the charms are available in two versions: ball chain and lobster clasp. Combined with the characters' different expressions, there are a total of 12 variations. Collectors can also connect all the charms using the hooks on the figures' chests and heads, creating a fun display of the entire party being suspended together!
