Japan's Megahouse toy company, under its "LOOK UP" chibi figure series, which features numerous anime and manga characters in an upward-gazing pose, has simultaneously unveiled two new popular anime "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" themed products: the "Frieren Shoboshobo Ver." and "Himmel" chibi figures. Both are priced at 4,620 JPY and are scheduled for release in late July 2026!
The story of "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" follows Frieren, an elf protagonist with an exceptionally long lifespan, who once defeated the Demon King alongside the hero Himmel and his party. However, it was only after Himmel's passing that she gradually came to understand the fleeting yet brilliant nature of human life. To further comprehend human emotions, Frieren embarks on a journey of self-discovery with the disciples of two of her former comrades.
These two LOOK UP figures stand approximately 11 cm tall, depicting Frieren and Himmel in an adorable approximately 2.5-head-tall chibi proportion, faithfully recreating the intricate details of their outfits within the chibi scale! For Frieren, the previously released standard version model is utilized, but with a new facial print featuring a dejected, squinting expression that makes you just want to pat her head! The heads feature simple articulation, allowing for slight adjustments to the direction of their gaze. Whether held in your hand or serving as a delightful companion during meals, they are absolutely adorable!
This time, pre-ordering the two-figure set through official channels will also include bonus cushions that can be placed under their bottoms. Toy enthusiasts interested in these figures absolutely shouldn't miss out!
