Japanese toy company RE-MENT, known for its exquisite accessories and miniature models, announced several new products today (the 4th). This article will introduce the second installment of the "OVALTIQUE COLLECTION" box set featuring the Pokémon theme: Luminous! It is scheduled for release on May 25, 2026, as a blind box set, with a suggested retail price of 1,450 JPY per box. There are six different designs to collect.
RE-MENT's Pokémon-themed "OVALTIQUE COLLECTION" series is a luxurious, fantasy-style collection that exudes a boutique-like quality. The golden egg-shaped container, which serves as both a display frame and a base, changes its form or color according to each Pokémon protagonist. It even incorporates the Pokémon's move effects, further enhancing the overall visual variation. Taking Lapras as an example, not only are pristine snowflakes and icicles crafted to match its Water/Ice typing, but the entire egg-shaped container also transforms from gold to silver, showcasing a truly stunning appearance.
The "OVALTIQUE COLLECTION Vol. 2 -Luminous-" features "Sylveon" adorned with heart and ribbon effects, the languid "Meowscarada," the aforementioned "Lapras," the energetic "Raichu," the powerful "Absol" as if in battle, and "Celebi" appearing from the future. This is a blind box set where even acquiring just one piece allows you to fully appreciate its charm – highly recommended!
