HobbyJapan's model brand AMAKUNI, in collaboration with Sentinel, has officially announced a new product in their 'AMAKUNI KISHIN' die-cast model series, the 'AMAKUNI Super Machine God Genesic Gaogaigar,' featuring a fully transformable and combinable mechanism. It is scheduled for release from December 2026 to January 2027, and will be produced on a made-to-order basis.
Genesic Gaogaigar is the 'Strongest God of Destruction' created by the 'Green Planet,' the home world of Mamoru and the mechanical lion Galeon (Galleon). It is formed by the combination of Genesic Gao and five Genesic Machines, representing Gaogaigar's true original form. It was originally created by Green Planet leader Cain to combat the artificial warriors 'Sol 11 Planetary Masters' made by the Red Planet. However, the control core of the Zonder Metal on the Purple Planet suddenly went berserk, triggering the 'Machine World Ascension' crisis where the planet was eroded by Zonders. The Green Planet leader then ordered the Genesic Machines to be modified into Zonder-specific combat units, but the erosion speed was unexpected. Only Galleon could be completed, while the remaining Genesic Machine components were sealed within G-Crystals, and Mamoru and Galleon were urgently sent to Earth to escape.
Compared to the previously released 'AMAKUNI KISHIN' version, the 'AMAKUNI Super Machine God Genesic Gaogaigar' features a completely new sculpt and structural design. Mechanical designer Toshinao Miyauchi is once again responsible for the prototype production, but the entire machine's detailed sculpting has been thoroughly revamped, boasting a fully transformable and combinable mechanism, and its size has been expanded to an impressive 30 cm in height.
The product includes Galeon and the five Genesic Machines, each featuring cool sculpting, rich color applications, and articulation. Some joints and frame parts are made from high-strength die-cast alloy. Galeon can fully transform into its 'Gao' form without needing to swap parts. In either form, it can combine with the Genesic Machines using dedicated parts to recreate the various original forms that appeared in the product-linked manga 'Brave King FINAL EXTRA EXPLODED EPISODE.'
All six machines can also fully transform and combine without part-swapping into the approximately 30 cm tall 'Genesic Gaogaigar.' While faithfully adhering to the original design's silhouette, it also adds a wealth of original stylized detail and color variations. Two different proportioned head parts are included for swapping. The back wings feature a mechanism for extensive armor deployment, and parts such as the wrists and knee drills are equipped with an electric rotating mechanism to simulate attack states.
Currently, official images only show the articulation demonstration for the upper body and hands, with the lower body's articulation still unknown. The hands feature a fully articulated five-finger design, allowing for more dynamic and intricate posing. Additionally, the product includes various interchangeable hand parts, including a dedicated hand for performing the special move 'Hell and Heaven.' By swapping accessories, it can also recreate the wrist-deployed 'Will Knife' and 'Screw Driver' armaments.
